CIGARETTE DYNAMICS

 

Maya RBD system with Houdini Particles. An *.OBJ sequence of the cigarette is exported from Maya and brought into Houdini to animate the embers, tobacco pieces and smoke.

- cut number of embers in half + make them larger in size + leave debris when they burn out

 

- cigarette too bouncy, match to reference video better

 

- add tobacco debris on each hard impact.. this cigarette isn't backed super tight so some debris should fall out.
